CBD Vs THC
While CBD has been known to affect all users differently, it’s effects are very different from that of THC. Since the THC component binds itself directly to your CB1 and CB2 receptors, CBD will act as an indirect agonist of cannabinoid receptors, and will not provide a prominent effect from its use. Many users do report feeling more relaxed, calmer, less anxiety/stress, agitated or irritable. Many have also reported the ability to fall asleep easier and have also noted signs of chronic pain alleviation as well as inflammation issues. THC on the other hand has almost had the exact opposite affect for many users. THC is highly psychoactive and intoxicating, and has been also known to cause anxiety in some cases. THC components bind directly to the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body, as well as the orthosteric receptor. THC is still very “Illegal” in certain parts of the United States, legalities may vary from state to state. Although many CBD products may contain “tiny” trace amounts of THC, the amount is of such low quantity that it is impossible to get intoxicated from it. Most trusted CBD products are produced with a COA or certificate of authenticity to validate exactly what and what portion you are putting into your body.
